“Explore how SkateTech Time turns browser activity into reviewable time records. Filter summarized time entries, then drill into the underlying browser sessions that produced them.”
SkateTech Time is designed to follow browser-based work as it happens and organize that activity by client and matter. As you move among websites and browser tabs, SkateTech Time preserves the appropriate client/matter context and builds a record designed to reflect the work you actually performed.

SkateTech Time – Client Box
Use the Client Box to assign the current tab to a client/matter, add or update a narrative, reuse recent clients, or mark activity as Unassigned or Personal.

SkateTech Time – Control Panel
Use the Control Panel to confirm the current site and client/matter, review timers, change assignments, pause or resume tracking, export reports, and see activation status.
How SkateTech Time Handles Browser Activity
Tab-specific attribution
Different browser tabs can remain assigned to different clients or matters.
Same-tab continuity
As you navigate within the same working tab, SkateTech Time maintains the client/matter context associated with that work.
Child-tab continuity
When a new tab is opened from assigned work, SkateTech Time can carry the relevant client/matter context into the new tab.
Fresh-tab independence
An unrelated new tab does not automatically inherit a client/matter assignment.
Personal activity
Mark personal browsing as Personal. Personal stays sticky for that website so later activity on the site remains Personal unless you change it.
Pause and resume
Tracking can be paused and resumed when appropriate, helping keep the resulting activity record accurate.
Still Active?
After 8 minutes of inactivity, SkateTech Time asks whether you are still active. Confirm, exclude, or reassign the interval and check that the resulting time is correct.
1. Assign the work
Use the Client Box to select or enter the client/matter for the current tab. Add a narrative when helpful.
2. Work normally
Move through websites, searches, and related tabs. SkateTech Time should preserve the appropriate client/matter context as you work.
3. Correct context when needed
Change the assignment, choose Unassigned, or mark activity Personal whenever the current context changes.
4. Handle inactivity
If SkateTech Time asks Still Active?, confirm, exclude, or reassign the inactive interval as appropriate.
5. Review your day
Review tracked activity by client and matter using the Totals and Sessions reports.
SkateTech Time is designed to keep tracked browser activity local to the user's browser and computer.
What stays local
Tracked browser activity is stored locally in the browser extension.
Excel and CSV exports download locally to the user's computer.
SkateTech Time does not use a SkateTech cloud activity database.
What SkateTech Time does not capture
Individual keystrokes or mouse coordinates.
Screenshots or clipboard contents.
Passwords.
Direct submission to a billing system.
